As The Skanner News Group launches our new website design, we are also shifting our mission of community service toward a commitment to address the digital divide.
Our new online look is geared toward providing more information to our readers around the Pacific Northwest, as well as increasing your ability to comment about the stories, editorials and breaking news that we offer every day.
In addition, we are promoting the Sabin Community Development Corporation's summer launch of free computer labs serving the House of Umoja and the Youth Employment Center bringing the organization's string of free computer facilities to five.
Look for our Sabin CDC computer lab community celebration in the next few weeks, and plan to get out and register for Sabin's free classes. For more information check out next week's issue of The Skanner on the street, and come on over to TheSkanner.com every day for breaking news, movies, commentary and more.
