Matt Dishman Community Center Annual Block Party

On Saturday, August 24, 2019, Portland Parks & Recreation is hosting the Matt Dishman Community Center’s Annual Block Party. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Neighborhood Heroes.” Portland Parks encourages interested parties to stop by the block party and nominate a community hero for a chance to be featured at the PP&R community center.

The event will feature free food, activities for all ages, arts and crafts, family fun and a live musical performance by Dina Y los Rumberos.

The free event will take place from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Matt Dishman Community Center located at 77 NE Knott St.
