VANCOUVER, Wash. – Clark College will host its annual Career Days with workshops, events, and a job fair designed to help today’s job-seekers build skills and connect with more than 100 employers. The four-day event will be held May 1-4 at the college’s main campus.

The year’s event includes workshops, skills sessions, and other opportunities designed to assist students and community members in their job search efforts. Events feature Clark experts along with employers and professionals from outside the college. All events are free and open to the public. No registration is required.

“Career Days is a great opportunity for anyone in the community to get valuable tips and information for their careers,” said Edie Blakely, Director of Career Services at Clark College. “The job market can be challenging, but we can provide you with the skills and tools to be successful. Students and community members can connect directly with local employers and professionals to get information, network, and build skills.”

Those attending the job fair will have the opportunity to learn about open positions from participating employers, gain career information, and get tips on how to apply with their companies. For example, Avis Budget Group will demonstrate how to interview for a position via video, an increasingly common aspect of modern job interviews.
