Serge Severe, Dj Wels Release Free Mixtape

Serge Severe is releasing a free mixtape "Severe Over Premier" mixed by DJ Wels of Style Molestors and Animal Farm. The tape features a flow of hard-hitting guest emcees including Al one of Sandpeople, Sole Provida and Fluent of Level Headed, and Gen.Erik of Animal Farm.

The mixtape release comes just months before the Serge Severe/Universal DJ Sect partnership will release "Back On My Rhymes" in March 2011 through Focused Noise, featuring some of Portland's best emcees including Braille, Cool Nutz, Illmaculate, Theory Hazit, Luck One, Destro of Boom Bap Project, and Gen.Erik of Animal Farm.

Severe is one of the most well-rounded, multi-dimensional MCs in the Northwest, and has shared stages with hip hop heavyweights Wu Tang Clan, De La Soul, Talib Kweli, Goodie Mob, Dead Prez and many more.
