The Urban League of Portland is looking for people who want to use their voice to influence the public policy that affects our community every day. As a member of the Urban League's Legislative Action Team, you will have the opportunity to travel to Salem and talk to legislators during the 2011 Legislative Session.

The team will meet with our legislators and testify on behalf of issues that have a significant impact on our community. You will also write and make calls to our legislators. We need your energy and enthusiasm to help change the face of Salem and make a lasting difference for Oregon.



The 2011 Legislative Action Team training will be held Dec. 14 at the Urban League of Portland, 10 N. Russell St., Portland from 6 pm to 8 pm.
